CEO Macauley Heseltine has revealed how he plans to reward the next promoted Assistant Manager to an all-expenses paid trip to the Big Apple.
Having received the same reward when he was promoted earlier in his career, the Hegemonic Enterprises owner believes this particular incentive is a fantastic way to get his workforce realising their maximum potential and putting in 110%. The U.S. trip will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for the individual lucky enough to become Assistant Manager.
Macauley has been reflecting on his time in New York several years earlier, discussing how he was given the opportunity to visit fellow associates during his trip. Seeing how others in the industry had successfully established themselves in the city, with offices overlooking Times Square was an epiphany for the CEO, who says the experience “lit a fire under me”.
“Witnessing what had been achieved by the hardest working individuals in the industry opened my eyes to the endless possibilities,” he reveals. “I was thrown into the deep end and asked to take part in some of the daily tasks taking place at the New York office, which was daunting but exhilarating and hugely educational too.”
The business owner highly recommends travelling overseas to study international markets, insisting it is very helpful in understanding how different countries approach sales and marketing, and what can be achieved in various locations. “My outlook has never been the same since I visited New York, it was a transformational trip for me,” Macauley reports.
The CEO is hopeful that whoever is on the receiving end of this brilliant reward will find the experience as eye-opening as he did.
